Strange Conversations: Part Two Hundred and Forty

In which I explain why it’s Nick’s fault that I had nightmares, and nothing to do with that creepy episode of Warehouse 13.
ME: Yes, well, I had nightmares all night and, when I got back from the loo at 2 am, you were cocooned up on your doona, despite the heat, so I blame you for the nightmares.
NICK: Well, that could be my fault, yes.
ME: You must have been generating an enormous amount of heat.
NICK: I have to stop doing that.
ME: Yes.
NICK: Maybe I should put in a thinner doona cover. Not cover. You know. The inside bit.
ME: Doona?
NICK: Yeah.
ME: Idiot.

I really enjoyed Warehouse 13 and I am pleased that there will be a second season. I know that it’s a bit lightweight (like your doona should apparently be – tenuous link) but fun.

Oh, definitely lightweight, but that’s no bad thing. It reminded me a little of The Middleman, while being less completely and utterly insane.
This was the episode with Mirror Alice (which is as far as we’ve got so far): not terribly scary, but I find creepy children a little freaky, especially late at night.

I loved The Middleman, so OTT, great characters!

The Middleman was brilliant, wasn’t it? I was gutted when it didn’t go to a second season, but I’m so, so glad they blew the rest of their budget on that two-part finale.
I guess I’ll just have to track down and read the graphic novels instead.
