ME: I know, right?
NICK: You’re cuter than a possum.
(Pause)
ME: You don’t like possums. You always yell at them when they rummage through the rubbish bin.
NICK: And then they wee on me, yes. But they are cute.
ME: Right . . .
NICK: But you’re cuter.
ME: Okay . . .
NICK: I think you’re over-thinking this.
ME: I think you’re under-thinking this.
NICK: You might be right.
