Strange Conversations: Part Sixty-Four
Posted 16 November 2008 in Strange Conversations by Catriona
The strange conversation we held just before this afternoon’s massive storm hit.
NICK: The sky was all sorts of weird colours when I was walking home from the shops: green, French gray, blue. I thought I was tripping for a while, there.
ME: You probably were: I’ve been putting LSD in your food for a while now.
NICK: That explains so much about my life.

Apparently, this was my 400th post. Somehow, it doesn’t seem like substantial enough a post for such a round number.
Is random commenting on your own blog a bad sign?

I think the problem starts when you expect it to answer back.

I often feel like going back and commenting on myself…and believe I have done so once or twice.
Do more comments make your 400th post seem more substantial…happy to help if so!

Thanks, Wendy! I think a comment thread would make it seem more substantial . . .
I worry slightly that it’s a little like talking to myself, commenting on my own posts. (I think I’m only worried about this because I do, in fact, talk to myself rather often, and have recently started catching myself doing it in public, which is a bit of a worry.)
Taking part in comment threads isn’t something I worry about.
