As I watch Nick execute increasingly complicated dance moves in the living room:

ME: Nicholas, what is wrong with you?
NICK: I’m on holiday! And I’m so happy!
ME: Yes! All the more time for me to bully and nag you about things.
ME AND NICK: Yay!
NICK: Bullying and nagging—exactly what I signed up for.
(Pause)
ME: You know, it was all fun until you said that.
NICK: It’s true. I do have a mean streak.
