Huh. Wrong Again.

It turns out my camera can take reasonably decent photographs just of the moon, without any intervening foliage, if I concentrate.
Who would have thought it?
Not that this should form a distraction from the fascinating discussion about The West Wing going on two posts below this.

This is great! You are becoming a lunar photography specialist – what a great job title!
Is this one in high-resolution? Could I possibly have a copy? I have been wanting one like this to put over my bed for ages but couldn’t find one to buy anywhere (and it didn’t occur to me that I could actually take one!)

Fairly high resolution: this one’s a cropped version of the original (I chopped the sides off, so this is about half the original image), but it’s still 1.713 (width) by 2,203 (height) pixels. The full image is much bigger at 3,264 (width) by 2.448 (height) pixels.
At full size, though, the edges of the moon are a lot blurrier than they look in this picture.
I’m happy to send you either or both (the cropped one’s just over a meg. and the full one just over 1.5 meg., so they’re e-mailable).
I don’t think I have an e-mail address for you, though. Send me an e-mail on the e-mail address from Facebook, and I’ll send them off to you.
