Shades of Grey

Posted 29 April 2010 in by Catriona

These photos are the result of my belated discovery of the “colour accent” feature on my camera, which allows me to accent a specific colour in an otherwise black-and-white photograph.

With this function, I hope to one day make my fortune producing Hallmark cards.

I present them in honour (also belated) of the first book of Jasper Fforde’s new Shades of Grey series, which I hope to be able to wallow in at some point in the not-too-distant future.

Awesome! Do the wallpaper! And some traffic from out the front! And a cake with hundreds and thousands!

Loving the kitchen one and the books one. I think that for my next brithday you should put me together a coffee table book of all your best shots :) either that or im going to illegally start grabbing a few of them and printing them myself xx

Problem with that feature was I tried it for the first time in our lounge room, and set the highlight colour to red. So with black, red and white available, in our lounge room, I momentarily thought it was still shooting in colour.

It’s possible we have a bit of a theme going on.
