Strange Conversations: Part Two Hundred and Thirty

Posted 24 November 2009 in by Catriona

NICK: I’m fascinated by your last Twitter update.
ME: It’s all true.
NICK: I need more information!
ME: No. It’s all there: I spent part of the morning pretending to be John Rhys Davies and hitting things with a shovel.
NICK: Just in the house in general? Or playing a game?
ME: Wouldn’t you like to know?
NICK: I really would!

Were you pretending to be John Rhys Davies or pretending to be someone that John Rhys Davies has previously pretended to be?

Well, it’s a bit of a gray area, Tim. But mostly I was pretending to be John Rhys Davies (who might, in the course of that pretending, have been pretending to be someone else).
