While watching the adaptation of Agatha Christie’s Cards on the Table:

ME: This is an extremely clever book. I hope they don’t muck around with it too much.
NICK: Don’t worry; I’m sure there’ll be lesbian Nazi nuns any minute now.

Actually, it turned out to be a.) not that far from the truth and consequently b.) not that funny.

I wish they’d either stop adapting or these, do it with some reference to the original novels, or just stop calling them Agatha Christies.
