I missed this one, they are beautiful. What is it?

It’s my jewelry.

The green piece is a lakh necklace, which I understand is an Indian method of preparing jewelry by pressing thin metallic foil over wood. In ordinary light (where this is under warm fluorescent light), it’s brilliant spring green with gold highlights, and manages to look heavy while feeling light. Very lovely, and I have earrings to match.

(More lakh jewelry is here.)

The other two necklaces are chain mail: they’re made of anodised aluminium, light as a feather, and they look stunning.

(The maker is here.)

My weakness for necklaces is second only to my weakness for books.
